In Las Vegas, some restaurants have decided to go another direction by offering delicious food in healthy portions. The city’s thriving scene is filled with eateries both big and small that bring new and exciting surprises to the residents. Asian BBQ & Noodles is one of these restaurants. Opened in 2010, the restaurant stood out because of its unique offerings of authentic Asian BBQ and various noodles. There are a plethora of options, including the Cantonese style BBQ pork, roast duck, dumplings, wonton soup noodle, beef soup noodle, steamed vermicelli roll, and Hainan Chicken Rice. The highly acclaimed items are roasted pork and Soup Noodle with Beef Brisket. As you would expect, the dishes can be adjusted to meet the dietary restrictions of individual customers. Even the Cantonese style BBQ pork and roasted pork is cooked with the lowest amount of oil possible, thus it is not greasy at all. Barbeque, which is pronounced Sui laap in Cantonese, is deeply rooted in its Cantonese origins. It is difficult to prepare, and calls for a skilled chef in order to be prepared it correctly. Owner Tony Luong is a master at turning ordinary dishes into wonderfully delicious creations, and his magic in the kitchen often holds customers spellbound. Although opened just for one year, the restaurant has accumulated a large customer base, and received positive feedback from the customers. “Most of customers are Asians from China, Thai, Korea, and Vietnam. Americans rarely came to our restaurant when it opened, and now many of them choose to takeout or dine in,”says Tony. Just stop by Asian BBQ and Noodles if you crave for Cantonese style BBQ and noodles.
